Ranwu Lake: Tibet's Secret Blue Paradise
Locals say Ranwu Lake "a teardrop from the sky," and standing by its shores, you'll believe it: the air is still, no loud crowds, just the soft sound of water brushing the banks. It's the kind of place where you stop talking, just to soak in how peaceful the world can feel. What makes Ranwu even more special is its layers of beauty. Up close, the lake's edges are lined with low shrubs and green meadows, dotted with tiny Tibetan houses. Look farther, and you'll see rolling snow-capped mountains, with Gangrigabu Snow Mountain's main peak standing out tallest, its white crown piercing the clouds.

Exploring Ranwu
Laigu Glacier
Right next to Ranwu Lake lies Laigu Glacier, one of the world's three great marine glaciers. It's made of six ice tongues, the longest stretching 12 kilometers. Walk close, and you'll see its surface crisscrossed with bright blue cracks—like the glacier's own fingerprint. Inside its ice caves, icicles hang from the ceiling, and when water drips, it sprays tiny ice chips that glint in the light. Hike to the glacier's end, and you'll watch it meet the lake: meltwater pools reflect the ice patterns, making it feel like you're staring into a time tunnel. Our Tibet travel agency arranges private hikes here with local guides who know the safest paths—no need to worry about getting lost or missing the best views.

Three-Color Lakes
Fifty kilometers from Ranwu Lake, you'll find the Three-Color Lakes—yellow, black, and white—shaped by mineral deposits in the earth. The yellow lake is surrounded by plateau wolfsbane flowers, the black lake's bottom is covered in sulfur, and the white lake is always wrapped in thin mist. They're arranged like a triangle, and Tibetans consider this spot a sacred bathing place for deities. It's a quiet, lesser-known spot—perfect if you want to avoid crowds—and our tours often add a stop here for travelers who love off-the-beaten-path beauty.

Conclusion
Countless wonders await you in Tibet. Discover more on our website—your trusted travel partner.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
