Meals Included vs. Excluded in Our Tibet Tour Package
Although according to the regulations of the tourism policy, as foreign tourists, you are required to visit Tibet under the accompaniment of a tour guide and a driver and follow the prearranged itinerary. Under this framework, our travel agency leaves you the leeway to freely choose your main meals. That is to say, the vast majority of main meals are decided and paid for by yourself. In fact, I think the independent exploration of local cuisine is also part of the travel experience. Such an arrangement will actually prevent you from being troubled by the unified diet plan, worrying about not being to your taste or not eating enough.
Most Breakfast Costs Are Already Included in the Tibet Travel Package
When our travel agency arranges accommodation for our foreign friends, the first choice is usually high-standard star-rated hotels, and such hotels generally offer buffet breakfast services. So you can rest assured that for hotels staying in Lhasa and Shigatse, providing free breakfast is a basic requirement. For some trips to slightly more remote counties such as Damxung County, Bange County and Dingri County, the hotels we arrange also offer breakfast. Additionally, our travel agency usually arranges one night's accommodation at the tent guesthouse for the itinerary of the Everest Base Camp. This accommodation also offers breakfast.
Some Breakfasts Are at Your Own Expense
First of all, on the first day of your arrival in Tibet, you need to pay for your own breakfast. Another point is that hotels in Saga County generally do not offer breakfast either. Although your accommodation in Tarchen town will provide you with breakfast, once you officially start your 3-day trekking around Mount Kailash, you will stay at the monastery guesthouses along the way for two nights. The two guesthouses do not offer free breakfast and you need to pay for it yourself. After all, the service standards of a guesthouse cannot be compared with those of a hotel, and a guesthouse is your only option during the mountain circumambulation, with very limited conditions.
Only Two or Three Main Meals Are Included in the Tibet Travel Package
Every Tibet trip comes with a welcome dinner to welcome our foreign guests, and every trip involving Yamdrok Lake will offer a farm lunch included in the package. Some tour packages include a farewell dinner. Our 10-day Lhasa EBC Tour will offer a special dinner with singing and dancing performances.
