How to Pick between Economy & Comfort Tibet Tours
Let's be honest, a group tour is the most hassle-free way to experience Tibet. Everything is taken care of in one all-in-one package. Our Tibet tour agency gets it: not everyone has the same budget or needs, so we've crafted two great group tour options for international travelers: Economy and Comfort. Think of it less as "cheap vs. expensive" and more as "cost-effective vs. High-quality." Both tours offer the same incredible itinerary, expert English-speaking guide, and the chance to share this journey with fellow explorers. The main difference lies in your hotel room at the end of an action-packed day. The Comfort option is naturally priced a bit higher. Not sure which one to choose? Let's break it down together.

Here's the thing about Tibet tour prices: the daily difference between our Economy and Comfort group tours is around 100 RMB. But this gap can change depending on when you visit. If you're traveling during peak season like July and August or October's Golden Week—hotel demand spikes, so the price difference might grow a little. But if you're visiting in the quieter months (November to April), when Tibet's landscapes are dusted with snow and fewer tourists are around, hotel rates drop across the board. That means the gap between Economy and Comfort gets smaller. It's all about timing and how flexible your budget is!

On our Economy tours, we place you in clean, reliable, and well-located 3-star hotels. They provide all the essentials: 24-hour hot water, a private bathroom, heating for chilly nights, clean bedding, daily housekeeping, and a breakfast buffet to start your day right. You'll be comfortable and well-rested. Our Comfort tours, however, feature 4-star hotels. These take the experience up a notch. You can expect more spacious rooms, often with beautiful traditional Tibetan decor, and superior amenities. A key advantage in the high-altitude environment of Lhasa is that many of these 4-star hotels feature diffused oxygen systems in the rooms, which can be helpful for your acclimatization and sleep quality. Furthermore, they often boast better views, perhaps a stunning panorama of the Potala Palace. The 3-star option is a fantastic, high-value choice for budget-savvy travelers. Now, for complete transparency, we must mention the exceptions. In remote areas like Mount Everest Base Camp, where you'll stay in a seasonal tent, or during a Mount Kailash pilgrimage where basic guesthouses are only option, both tour types share the same simple accommodation: multi-bed rooms with shared bathroom facilities. These unique experiences are part of the adventure!

Conclusion
Regardless of your choice, we want to be actually clear: every single guest receives the same outstanding level of care and service from our team. Your well-being and enjoyment are our top priority. This includes the same warm welcome with a traditional scarf upon arrival, the same convenient airport or train station transfers, the same knowledgeable guide bringing Tibet's history to life, and the same support throughout your journey. We never compromise on service. Your decision between Economy and Comfort is a personal one, based purely on your budget and your preferred style of nightly comfort. There is no wrong answer, only the right one for you.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
