The Middle and Late October Is the Period with the Least Tourist Flow
The period from mid-September to early October usually experiences a massive influx of tourists. This is mainly because of China's National Day on October 1st. On the contrary, the crowds will disperse from mid-October to late October after the Golden National Day. The second least crowded period is from early September to mid-September, as the summer vacation for Chinese students and teachers comes to an end at the end of August.
