How Much Does a Tibet Trip Cost for Children?
Out of the safety consideration for young children who are disabled to speak out the actual needs and lack of on-site experience of the plateau, our travel agency does not accept children under the age of six, for the good of both of us.
For children over six years old, it doesn't mean that there will be no problem at all when they come to Tibet. It's best to get the advice of a doctor and they must be accompanied by an adult through the whole Tibet tour.

Tibet Travel Package Price References for Children between 6 and 11
The most important thing should be said first. You need to have a general understanding of the services included in the Tibet travel package. A standard Lhasa tour package include the following contents: admission tickets to the attractions listed in the itinerary, accommodation throughout the trip including hotels and local homestays, transportation costs and driver service during the tour, professional English-speaking guide, special lunch and welcome dinner, travel personal accident insurance, medical oxygen supply on vehicles for high-altitude areas, and complimentary airport/train station to city hotel transfers at Lhasa.
For children aged between 6 and 11, we can offer a 50% discount on the adult price. However, it is important to note that children do not occupy a bed and this price does not include the attraction entrance fees, which are actually charged. Some scenic spots in Tibet also offer discounts for children under 12 years old. By the way, the attraction entrance fees fluctuate with the seasons. It is advised that you should get to know the latest information by the help of our travel consultants. Take the four-day tour package to Lhasa during the off-season from November to February as an example. For children under 12 years old, the cost is usually around 260 dollars. Of course, this is a price that does not occupy the bed and is charged separately for the entrance ticket. Note that It is for reference only and the current inquiry shall prevail.

Tibet Travel Package Price References for Children Aged 12 and above
Most children aged 12 and above are physically and mentally able to visit most regions of Tibet. Nevertheless, when it comes to some high-altitude areas like Ngari, it still depends on the specific physical condition and should not be overly forced. Given that children of this type need to occupy beds and the ticket charging standards for scenic spots in Tibet are also adult standards, the price standards are the same as those for adults. For instance, a 6 days Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse Tibet tour is about $850 a person in a shoulder season from March to May. Your children can enjoy the same or even better treatment and care as adults.

Conclusion
Never should you get worried that there are no children-friendly trips in Tibet. Although the altitude here is generally high, there are also some low-altitude scenic spots. For example, most areas of Nyingchi are low-altitude.

Train booking
We are a group of 15 (perhaps 17) who need to take the June 8th 15:27 train from Xining to Lhasa. We need to book this soon so prompt reply would be helpful. We are getting our permits from an agent and should have them in 6-8 days.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
