Despite this, Shanghai's extremely superior geographical location and economic status offer the most options for arriving in Shanghai by international flights. Therefore, Shanghai is undoubtedly a good choice.
Take a Connecting Flight from Lhasa to Shigatse
Although Lhasa and Shigatse are adjacent and the driving distance only takes a few hours, the flight duration is unexpectedly long, starting from 15 hours and over 20 hours, as the flights also need to transfer in Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. Some flight routes even need to transfer at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Jinan Yaoqiang Airport. As a result, the flight duration is further increased. In my opinion, this option is very suitable for those who want to enjoy the scenery above the Himalayas after traveling in Lhasa and then head to the Everest Base Camp.
