Tibet-Bhutan Combined Tour Visa Requirements
The Tibet-Bhutan Combined Tour seamlessly links core landscapes of the Himalayas, from Tibet's sacred lakes like Yamdrok and Namtso to Bhutan's hidden gems such as Gangtey Valley and Phobjikha Valley. En route, you can get close to iconic peaks like Mount Everest and marvel at their grandeur up close. This itinerary caters perfectly to outdoor enthusiasts: Tibet's high-altitude treks complement Bhutan's pristine forest hikes, offering a dual experience of the world's most dramatic natural scenery and time-honored cultural sites. However, both regions have unique policies distinct from other destinations that require careful planning at the outset to ensure a smooth journey.

Tibet-Bhutan Combined Tour: Documentation Needed for the Tibet Part
In addition to a valid Chinese visa, the Tibet Travel Permit is an essential document that allows you to enter and exit the Tibet region within the planned itinerary. The required materials for obtaining the Tibet Travel Permit vary depending on the type of visa you hold. For instance, visitors with a work visa need to provide the copies of their passport, visa, and proof of employment, whereas those with a tourist visa only need to present their copies of passport and visa. If you intend to visit border areas in Tibet, additional documents such as the Frontier Pass or Aliens' Travel Permit are required. It's important to note that apart from the Chinese visa, these permits must be applied for through a Chinese travel agency. It is advisable that you apply for the Tibet Travel Permit at least one month in advance to ensure sufficient time for the application process. Once the travel agency has processed the permit, they will deliver it to you via mail or other means.

Tibet-Bhutan Combined Tour: Documentation Needed for the Bhutan Part
Citizens of India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives are exempt from needing a visa and do not have to go through travel agencies for any procedures. However, for visitors from other countries, the process involves applying through a Bhutanese travel agency. You will need to provide your passport, a detailed itinerary, and pay a visa fee. The visa's validity and duration of stay are also restricted, so it's crucial to apply well in advance according to your travel schedule. Applying a month ahead gives you ample time to handle any unexpected situations.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
