Essential Toiletries for a Tibet Trip
When you set foot in Tibet, a land of mystery and breathtaking beauty, the focus is often on the stunning landscapes and unique cultural experiences. However, ensuring personal hygiene and comfort is equally important. Given the region's harsh climate and relatively underdeveloped infrastructure, packing essential toiletries can significantly enhance your journey. Fortunately, many everyday toiletries can be easily found in supermarkets in Lhasa.
Basic Toiletries
Toothbrush and Toothpaste: Opt for a toothpaste with moisturizing properties to combat the dry climate and protect your oral health.
Shampoo and Conditioner: The dry climate can be harsh on your hair, so bring nourishing shampoo and conditioner to keep your hair healthy.
Body Wash: Choose a gentle and moisturizing body wash to prevent your skin from drying out.
Towels: Pack several highly absorbent towels. Quick-drying towels are especially convenient for high-altitude use.

Climate-Specific Essentials
Sunscreen: With intense UV rays in Tibet, sunscreen is a must. Go for a high SPF, waterproof formula.
Lip Balm: The dry climate can cause lips to crack easily. A moisturizing lip balm will keep your lips protected.
Moisturizer: To combat dry air, bring a good moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.
Hand Cream: Don't forget hand cream to prevent your hands from drying and cracking.
Nasal Mist: A nasal mist can help with dryness and nosebleeds.
Throat Lozenges: Carry throat lozenges to soothe any dryness or irritation in your throat.
Hand Sanitizer: For times when handwashing facilities are unavailable, hand sanitizer is a lifesaver.
Trash Bags: Particularly useful for trekking and car trips to keep your environment clean.

Personalized Items
Earplugs: For a better night's sleep, especially in noisy environments.
Mask: To protect against dust and wind during travel.
Comb or Brush: Essential for keeping your hair neat and tidy.

Conclusion

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
