How to Contact Your Embassy During Tibet Tours
Unexpected events can turn a dream Tibet trip into a scramble for help. Your passport might slip from your pocket while you circumambulate the Jokhang, or rain-soaked pages could peel apart on the road to Everest Base Camp. Although natural disasters such as landslides, sudden snowstorms, or disputes are rare, they can still occur when you least expect them. In the worst cases, you might witness or be caught up in a security incident near a sensitive border area. When any of these happen, your embassy is your lifeline.

To contact your embassy while in China, there are common methods available. Before your trip, check your embassy's official website to find their contact phone numbers in China, and keep it in both your phone (add +86 for China) and a paper back-up. For instance, the British Embassy in China has its contact details listed on its website, which you can call directly in case of an emergency. Another way is through email communication.

Most embassies post specific email addresses on their websites for different services like consular affairs and visa inquiries. You can send a detailed description of your situation to the relevant email address. It's important to note that in Tibet, the only foreign diplomatic mission is the Consulate General of Nepal in Lhasa.

Conclusion
In the unlikely event of any unexpected incidents during your Tibet tour, our travel agency will be your first line of support. We will immediately assist in assessing the situation, providing necessary information, and helping you get in touch with your embassy if needed.
Remember, your guide is always your most solid backup. Whatever issue you encounter, the first step is to turn to your guide for a solution—it's far more efficient than contacting a distant embassy, and you should do the latter only if absolutely necessary.
Our team is dedicated to ensuring your safety and smooth resolution of any issues, working alongside you and relevant authorities to handle the matter efficiently, so you can focus on getting back to enjoying your journey as soon as possible.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
