Bomi Tibet: Explore the Land of Peach Blossoms and Glaciers in Eastern Tibet
Bomi is a different side of Tibet—softer, greener, and incredibly vibrant, especially in the spring, and you will find lush forests, roaring blue-green rivers, and villages nestled among wild peach trees.
Bomi Peach Blossom Valley: A Pink Paradise in Spring
When spring arrives in Tibet (late March to mid-April), Bomi Peach Blossom Valley transforms into one of the most breathtaking sights in the region. Stretching over 30 kilometers along the Parlung Tsangpo River, this valley is home to China's largest and longest stretch of wild peach trees—some over 600 years old—that bloom in waves of soft pink. The trees grow freely across hillsides, riverbanks, and around traditional Tibetan villages. Moreover, morning light bathes the valley in a warm glow, turning the blossoms into a sea of pink, while afternoon sun casts dramatic shadows that make every corner perfect for photography. The best way to experience the valley is to follow the scenic route from Galang Village to Qingduo Town, where you'll pass through charming settlements like Runa and Gutong. In these villages, peach trees blend seamlessly with local life—lining paths, shading farmyards, and even standing beside traditional Tibetan wooden houses. Galang Lake, near the start of the route, is a highlight too; on misty mornings, its calm waters mirror the pink blossoms and surrounding mountains, creating a scene straight out of a dream.

Bomi Ancient Township: A powerful reminder of nature's grandeur
The highlight here is the Gang County Spruce Forest, a vast expanse of ancient spruce trees that create a peaceful, shaded haven. Walking through the forest, the air is fresh with the scent of pine, and sunlight filters through the canopy in dappled patterns, making every step feel like a retreat from the world. Scattered throughout the township are also several beautiful lakes, including Galang Lake and Guxiang Lake. These lakes are surrounded by forests and hills, their calm waters reflecting the surrounding scenery, and they're ideal spots for picnics, meditation, or simply taking in the quiet beauty of Tibet.

Midui Glacier: Tibet's Most Accessible Ice Wonder
Located about 100 kilometers east of Bomi's county seat, Midui Glacier's ice tongue descends right into a lush forest valley, creating a rare and magical contrast between icy blue and vibrant green. As you approach, you'll be greeted by the sight of towering ice walls, sparkling ice crystals, and small waterfalls that flow from the glacier's edge. The best time to visit is winter (December to February), when the glacier is at its most dramatic, with thick ice and fewer crowds, but it's equally impressive in summer, when the melting ice feeds the surrounding streams and makes the forest even greener. Walking along the trails near the glacier, you'll feel the cool air on your face and hear the distant rumble of ice shifting—a reminder of the power of nature. For a more immersive experience, take your time to explore the nearby forests, where you'll find dense stands of spruce and pine, and maybe even spot local wildlife like monkeys or birds.

Conclusion
Tibet is an utterly enchanting land of spectacular beauty, and there's bound to be something special here that gives you every good reason to visit.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
