The Mount Kailash kora is equal to the Mount Kailash circumambulation. This circumambulation trip is a 52-kilometer journey in a clockwise direction around Mount Kailash. How Many Days Do You Need to Finish the Mount Kailash Kora?

The starting point is the Darchen Town, where you can supply any necessities. Also, hiring porters and yaks to carry luggage begins here. Then, passing through the Ma Tou Ming Wang Mani Stones at an altitude of 4,900 meters, to get to the accommodation point, Drirapuk Monastery at an altitude of 5,080 meters. It takes about 13 kilometers to walk on this day.
The second day is the most exhausting one, requiring a journey of about 24 kilometers. After departing from Drirapuk Monastery, passing through a sky burial site, you need to cross the Dolmala Pass at an altitude of 5,600 meters. After passing a tea house, you will reach Dzultripuk Monastery, which is your accommodation point for tonight.
The 12-kilometer journey on the third day will surely give you a sigh of relief. After starting from Dzultripuk Monastery, you will pass by Zongdui Teahouse and finally return to the starting point of this trip, Darchen Town.
Complete Documents for the Mount Kailash Kora
The documents required to travel to Mount Kailash are more than those needed to travel to any other area of Tibet. The documents you need to go to any place in Tibet are a Chinese visa, a passport and a Tibet Travel Permit. The Mount Kailash kora is based on this and adds additional requirements such as Aliens' Travel Permit, Foreign Affairs Permit, and Military Permit.
