Direct Flights between Nyingchi and Chengdu, Lhasa, Chongqing will be Opened

Three new flights between Nyingchi and Lhasa, Chengdu and Chongqing to meet the demand of the tourists will be opened to meet the demand of the tourists according to Tibet Airlines. The direct flight between Nyingchi and Chengdu will be opened on February 1st and the direct flights between Nyingchi and Chongqing, Nyingchi and Lhasa will be opened on February 2nd.

Nyingchi located in southeastern Tibet. It has an average altitude of 3100 meters. Nyingchi is praised as the "Switzerland of Tibet" and it has a quite pleasant climate. It is reported that it takes about 40 minutes to fly to Lhasa from Nyingchi and it takes about 2 hours to fly to Nyingchi from Chengdu and Chongqing. There are certain discounts for the price of the three airlines at the initial stage.

Manager of Tibet China International Travel Service said that the opening of the flights between Nyingchi and Chongqing, Chengdu not only offers great convenience for tourists planning a Tibet tour from Chengdu and Chongqing but also enriches the Tibet tour market.

It is introduced that the flight between Chengdu and Nyingchi (TV9805/8) will be available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will departure from Chengdu at 8:20 and arrive in Nyingchi at 10:15 in the morning. Then it will departure from Nyingchi at 11:00 and arrive in Chengdu at 12:40.

The flight number of Lhasa – Nyingchi is TV9833/4. This flight will be available on Monday and Thursday. It will departure from Nyingchi at 9:20 and arrive in Lhasa at 10:00 in the morning. Then it will departure from Lhasa at 10:40 and arrive in Nyingchi at 11:20.

The flight number of Chongqing – Nyingchi is TV9835/6. It will be available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It will departure from Chongqing at 7:00 and arrive in Nyingchi at 9:15 in the morning. Then it will departure from Nyingchi at 9:55 and arrive in Chongqing at 12:05.
